RFIVEAPP™

Recovery Support for Everyday Life.

RFiveapp is the proprietary digital recovery platform developed by Recover360. It is designed to help people remain connected with their recovery between scheduled sessions and as they move forward beyond the most intensive period of support.

RFiveapp brings the Recover360 ethos into everyday life through five connected pillars: Recover, Restore, Reconnect, Reinforce and Reclaim.

Together, these pillars reflect recovery as more than the reduction or cessation of substance use. They support the continuing process of rebuilding wellbeing, relationships, confidence, identity and direction.

A CLEAR AND MEMORABLE STRUCTURE

The Five Pillars of RFiveapp

The five pillars are connected rather than strictly sequential. A person may move between them, return to them and experience progress in different areas at different times.

Recover

Represents the decision to begin moving towards change and the ongoing work of sustaining it. Supports people to develop greater awareness of their substance use, recognise risk and protective factors, and remain connected with the reasons they want life to be different. Approached with honesty, compassion and accountability. Setbacks are taken seriously, but not treated as proof that change is impossible.

Restore

Focuses on the parts of life and wellbeing that may have been affected by addiction. This can include physical and psychological health, sleep, routine, emotional stability, confidence, trust and the ability to participate more fully in everyday life. Restoration does not mean returning to an earlier version of oneself. It means creating stronger foundations for the life the person is building now.

Reconnect

Recognises that recovery is strengthened through meaningful relationships and a renewed sense of belonging. May involve rebuilding connection with oneself, family, supportive peers, professionals, community, education, employment or interests that have become distant. Not about returning to every previous relationship — it supports people to recognise which connections are safe, respectful and consistent with their recovery.

Reinforce

The continuing practice of strengthening what supports recovery. Insight gained through psychotherapy, Recovery Navigation, psychoeducation and lived experience becomes most valuable when carried into daily decisions. The aim is not perfection or constant motivation — it is to make supportive patterns more familiar, accessible and sustainable over time.

Reclaim

Focuses on identity, agency and the future. Addiction can narrow a person’s life until substances, consequences and attempts to manage them occupy much of their attention. Recovery creates space to rediscover strengths, values and possibilities. Reclaiming life means developing the confidence and freedom to make choices that reflect who the person is becoming — not allowing addiction to define who they are.

One Connected Recovery Journey

A participant may be recovering from a difficult period while also restoring physical wellbeing, reconnecting with family, reinforcing new ways of coping and reclaiming a sense of purpose. RFiveapp helps keep these different parts of recovery visible and connected.

This whole-person perspective allows progress to be recognised in meaningful ways — safer choices, greater honesty, improved health engagement, stronger boundaries, renewed relationships, consistent routines or a growing sense of hope and direction.

Supporting Recovery Between Sessions

Important changes often happen between scheduled conversations — during an ordinary morning, a difficult evening, a moment of uncertainty or a decision to act differently.

RFiveapp provides a consistent digital point of connection to the participant’s recovery. It supports reflection, learning, personal recovery planning and awareness of progress without attempting to replace the clinical and human relationships at the centre of Recover360.

The platform is designed to be purposeful and proportionate. Digital engagement should help recovery feel more accessible and connected, not become another source of pressure or judgement.

Human Relationships Remain Central

Recover360 is relationship-led. RFiveapp supports the work taking place through psychotherapy, facilitated groups, family involvement and Recovery Navigation.

Technology can help people remember, reflect and remain connected with their intentions. It cannot replace empathy, professional judgement, therapeutic understanding or the experience of being known and supported by another person.

RFiveapp therefore extends the Recover360 relationship into everyday recovery while maintaining clear boundaries around what digital support can and cannot provide.

A Platform Designed Around the Person

RFiveapp is guided by the same person-centred values as Recover360. This means that:

For Families and Professionals

The five pillars provide a shared language through which participants, families and professionals can understand the wider process of recovery.

For families, this can support a clearer appreciation of the difference between encouraging recovery and taking responsibility for it. For professionals, it provides a coherent public framework for understanding how RFiveapp complements the wider Recover360 pathway.

Access to information will always remain appropriate to the person’s role and governed by consent, confidentiality, safeguarding and data-protection responsibilities.

Privacy, Safety and Trust

People need to understand how digital recovery support is used and what they can expect from it. RFiveapp is being developed with privacy, transparency, appropriate consent, data protection and responsible information use as core requirements.

RFiveapp is not an emergency or continuously monitored service. Participants will receive clear information about its purpose, its boundaries and how to seek appropriate help when urgent support is required.

Research-Led Development

RFiveapp forms part of Recover360’s commitment to evidence-informed practice, outcome evaluation and continual learning.

The platform will develop responsibly in response to clinical need, participant experience, research, governance and technical readiness. Its purpose will remain consistent: to strengthen meaningful recovery without losing sight of the person, their relationships or the life they are working to reclaim.

Recover. Restore. Reconnect. Reinforce. Reclaim.

Five connected pillars. One whole-person recovery journey. RFiveapp helps people carry recovery into everyday life — supporting them to build, recognise and protect the changes that matter.
